Flux not disabling per application rules

I recently color-calibrated my displays and ever since running the DisplayCal profiler, fLux will not disable when I open programs such as lightroom and photoshop even though I have it set to disable when those apps are open.
It would be nice to have a feature that completely disabled fLux whenever X application is open instead of just when that application is in the foreground.
