f.lux only working on 1/2 identical monitors both on HDMI

Hi, I recently bought a second identical monitor and f.lux is either active on one or the other monitor upon boot/restart. Both monitors are using the original cable that followed and are connected via HDMI. Only difference between the monitors is the build year. I have all the latest windows 10 updates, the latest drivers for my RX480 as well as drivers for the monitors from Philips.
