How to adjust temperature in mac EI Capitan?

When I downloaded the app, the automatic color is too orange; I turned it to "custom colors" plus 3800k, but a notification props up, "Sunrise and sunset will not happen at the correct times. Do you want to continue with no location set?" I'm afraid that the wrong brightness will do harm to my eyesight.

f.lux needs your approximate location to know when it's day and night. You don't have to specify it exactly - but give it a nearby city to work with, and it will do much better.
