All monitors listed as "Generic PnP Monitor"
-
Is there a way to change the monitors around so they all don't say "Generic PnP Monitor"? I cannot tell which ones they are to disable. They are identified correctly under windows as show here:
-
Yes, install the driver for each monitor from Dell and HP.
Dell S2318H/HX: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=2cfx5
Dell S2340L: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=jxckn

@TwoCables Is this such a wise decision? These drivers are from 2015 or earlier. Surely there has to be some way to just rename them in the application?

They're just monitor drivers. Being "old" is fine. If you don't like the drivers, then you can uninstall them, but I guarantee you that they won't do any harm because they can't. They're specifically designed for these monitors, and you'll get the results you want.
F.lux gets the name from the drivers. Check Device Manager. Go to the Display settings in Windows. You'll see "Generic PnP Monitor" there too - until you install these drivers.
