F.lux is not working in remote environment/rdp

F.lux is not working in remote environment. This has no sense to disable it in a virtual machine when all the work happens there. is there any fix for this or I should just unistall this useless programm and look for something else?

Check this thread, you need an older version. Developers didn't care enough to fix this.
