f.lux disabling color profiles
-
Hi, I have a laptop with an external hdmi monitor. I have noticed that my custom ICC color profile for the laptop monitor (created using the standard color calibration tool in Windows 10) gets disabled when I open f.lux. Even if I set the laptop monitor as disabled on f.lux menu, it does wipe the ICC anyway.
On this forum I see another similar issue posted in 2016 for a mac user with no answers. Is there anything that can be done? Thank you.

This is addressed in our FAQ here:
https://justgetflux.com/faq.html?q=calibrate+display
The short version is: this is not a "real" profile and there are better tools to use to make one.

Interesting stuff, I didn't know that. I can't find my laptop's lcd profile on the database, I will check QuickGamma for sure.
Thank you.
