Flux not running in full screen games

I've only noticed this problem in the last few days. Prior to that, Flux would operate normally when running full screen games. It works fine in windowed mode, but the second I switch to full screen, Flux is disabled.
I found one relevant post here

which suggests it may be the game itself causing Flux not to run, but I don't know if the problem lies with the game itself, or with FluxI'd appreciate any advice on how to identify where the problem lies. Thanks!

Justiced noticed something worth adding -- Flux is also disabling when running youtube videos full screen

Two possibilities:
- there is a problem with the new windows update - https://forum.justgetflux.com/topic/7043/fix-for-problems-with-the-windows-10-may-update-1903-18362/1
- there is a feature that disables f.lux for fullscreen apps, so check if you've set it in f.lux's disable menu.
