Night owl needs to modify low point of graph
-
I use the computer to 1am each morning. I am usually writing my book. f.lux is fantastic at getting me ready for bed but this new version makes everything so dim I am actually straining to see what I am typing. Since straining is BAD I need to be able to adjust the low point of the graph bar but I cannot find how to do that. I don't want to fight with f.lux every night to try to force a change. Where can I control how low it goes every time?
-
Can you just move the slider? It should always remember it when you change it.
-
I am not able to grip the line and push it up. Clicking anywhere on the line causes it to do a 24 hour preview.
-
ok, the graph used to be too small to adjust accurately, but maybe we will make this work in the future. :)
For now use the slider above the graph, or the menu "Adjust day and night colors together..."
-
But I don't want to do this on a daily basis !
I want to be able to permanently set it so that each night it does not get as dim.
also ... I cannot find the menu setting "Adjust day and night colors together..." -
Yes if the graph changes you have set it up. The main slider will adjust the current setting (which is usually good enough). But this other menu is behind the "hamburger" (three lines menu) in the main preferences.

Ok ... it looks like "Adjust day and night colors together..." is exactly what I was looking for ... so if I change that ... will the change be saved even after the computer is shut down and be remembered day after day ?

That's not where f.lux is manually adjusted. You have to grab the circle/ball thing and slide it left or right (click and drag).
