why is f.lux opening browser windows? is there any way to go back to the old version and get rid of all this monetization bullshit?

okay, found the old version. the new version is not good, the interface is confusing and there are extra useless options. when people check a box to allow automatic updates, you're really breaking your end of the bargain when you completely change the way the program works and add browser popups. shame on you as a company. you should require confirmation before pushing out this upgrade. the way it was pushed through is enough to guarantee i'll never go back to v4, three minutes with it was enough for me
