F.lux not working with monitors connected to USB hub

I bought this USB hub: Targus 2K Universal Docking Station, USB 3.0, Single 2K or Dual HD Video, Dock120USZ (https://www.amazon.com/Targus-Universal-Docking-Station-Dock120USZ/dp/B019M3QRPW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1506633253&sr=8-1&keywords=targus+usb+displayport+3.0)
to use with my my HP ZBOOK15 laptop running Windows 7. The laptop is connected to the USB hub via USB 3.0 and the USB hub is connected to two monitors: one via DisplayPort and the other DVI. I have f.lux 4.43 and it doesn't work on either monitor, I tried reinstalling f.lux but no luck. Does f.lux support this kind of setup?
Previously, I was using another HP laptop with a HP docking station: HP Docking Station HSTNN-I11X VB041AA (https://www.amazon.com/HP-HSTNN-I11X-Elitebook-581597-001-688169-001/dp/B013XKBERG) and f.lux worked fine with both monitors with no issue.
