Cannot access f.lux menu.

I installed f.lux and was asked for my zip code, which was successful. The f.lux icon appears to the left of the clock, but disappears if the cursor gets near it. I have not been able to access the menu.

Is it going into the hidden icons area? They are doing things a little differently with their icon and perhaps it's slow to update the location of the icon when it moves to the area for hidden icons. So perhaps its disappearance can only show now if the mouse cursor touches where it once was.
