When receiving a windows notification the filter momentarily returns the screen to the eye-watering default blue hue. Quite a flash bang I must say. This also happens when entering the display tab of windows settings, an easily reproducible method. In this case the lack of flux remains until I switch tabs out of the windows settings window although flux remains if I tab back in.</p>
<p dir="auto">Am I missing some setting to prevent this?</p>

The decent news is that it only seems to happen once per reboot - so it's terrible but it <em>should</em> be just the one time.</p>
