But quitting the program does not work. It still leaves my screen dimmer than normal, which I can't do anything about except reboot my computer.</p>
<p dir="auto">And yes, as per what Ive read elsewhere here, I already have the "automatic brightness" setting in my Mac setting set to off.  Anybody knows how to fix this?</p>
<p dir="auto">Im using MAc OS MOhave 10.14.6 and f.lux v. 40.1</p>

<p dir="auto">We only adjust the brightness of the backlight ever when you use "dim on disable" - perhaps you can uncheck that, just in case?</p>
