Flickering screen, again, with the latest version: f.lux (v4.118)
-
This is a good program, it relieved eye strain for me, but, here are my notes:
07/24/17 Using Intel HD Graphics 530 . . . de-installed f.lux, because it did weird things to the display, taking a screenshot would not capture it
06/08/20 re-try it, I think bright white stresses my eyes - yes, helps
06/26/20 it causes screen to flicker, but it hasn't done it the past few days
06/26/20 I see there is an update, updated from 4.111 to 4.118 . . . 3400K all the time is best. Restart required, it left my settings how they were
08/01/20 monitor is flickering again (around 5 seconds off / 5 seconds on), how about just setting color temp to 3400K manually in the monitor settings itself?
Here's the fix I think is best - do a Custom RGB in the monitor itself.
I'm thinking, would it be possible to provide a page, or program, that gives you the RGB value for all the other temp settings, to play around with? I can do without all the features of the program.
It's a headache when you're in the middle of something, and your screen starts flickering.

I figured out how to do it manually with the monitor RGB settings.
I'm doing ok with two monitors, and these two settings: 2400K and 3400K
