As long as it gets me within 1,000 to 2,000 lux in range outside then I'm satisfied, but what I would primarily use it for is to show people just how much darker it is inside.

We recently stopped using one that was 4x this price because it had so many issues. Not sure what you're measuring specifically but that one might not really be a bargain.
