Darkroom mode - different colors?

Darkroom mode is great ! It's something I've been looking for for years, no one else has come up with anything similar.
It's brilliant the way it turns nearly every background to black.How is it achieved !!?
Red is great for night, but for day time work I'd like to use Green on Black.
Is this theoretically possible? Is there a way to adjust f.lux to produce this ??

Oh like the idea of doing it during the day -- that gives me an excuse to do it.

If we're gonna add this feature, let's do a light blue! Maybe aqua would work best as it's the brightest color near blue to my knowlegde, or close enough, and we could crank up the display brightness to the MAX!
