We know of some Lenovo machines that were holding back their NVIDIA driver while updating their Intel driver, I think. May be true with other computer makers too. The fix (as usual) is to force the drivers to update to something more current.

I have 2 monitors and if I hover my mouse over a link on my 2nd monitor it comes back on in my 1st monitor where I have the video in full screen. I don't know if it means anything.

If I keep it on "classic f.lux" 3400K or above it seems to work just fine but if I go below that I lose the effect in full screen.
