Interesting. Somehow, the previous driver was preventing f.lux from working! Wow.

If you are seeing what looks like the 6500K setting to you, then something is overriding f.lux. I think Windows 10 has its own built-in 'feature' that is supposed to do what f.lux does. Try to find it and disable it.

In the meantime, turn on some lights and turn down your monitor's brightness. I'm getting the impression your room is too dark and your monitor's brightness is set very high.

Hi, thank you again. Sorry for answering so late. I don't have windows 10, but windows 7. Also I just re-installed it, so no programm or application could be"overriding" f.lux. What should I do?

In the meantime, turn on some lights and turn down your monitor's brightness. I'm getting the impression your room is too dark and your monitor's brightness is set very high.

Just spend some time with it. I did, and that's how I figured it out. No one told me how to do this.

You can put f.lux into the night mode or day mode by entering a fake location into f.lux. You can also give it a fake wake-up time to put it into bedtime mode.
