f.lux + Remote Desktop

f.lux does not appear to work with Chrome Remote Desktop. How much work would it be to add support? The specific case I have is to Chromote from Chrome OS to a linux box. Would love it if f.lux could handle this, as there seems to be no great way to add blue light filtering to Chrome OS at all.
Are donations accepted for feature requests? :-)
