No icon in task bar with Beta version

I was using the original f.lux version on my laptop and wanted to be able to adjust the settings a bit more, so I downloaded the beta version, and now I can't adjust anything without re-downloading the beta version because the icon does not appear in my task bar or system tray and when I try to open the program with the icon on my desktop, it doesn't do anything. When I check my task manager, it isn't there either. I'm using Windows 10.
