I just wasted 45 min researching and systematically stopping and starting, restarting etc applications to determine this poorly programmed application was responsible for the horrid window flicking that was going on in my system on a 4k 60hz monitor while using windows 10. I just downloaded flux less than 24 hours ago.

Is it time for me to look for a flux alternative or is this getting fixed? Glaring defect in product whom sole purpose is to sooth my eyes, not annoy the hell out of me and waste my time.

You can see a short example of what it looked like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q-bCvkLmEc&feature=youtu.be

Imagine trying to work with that going on.

That looks like a problem we are seeing on this forum from the 1703 Creator's Update in Windows 10. It's not f.lux.

Do you have the version of f.lux from the main page? Or did you download the beta of f.lux 4.20 from the beta thread?

That should not be going on at all, but regardless - the beta improves these issues a lot.

@herf sorry for necroposting, but I'm experiencing the same kind of flickering with F.lux 4.119 in Windows 10 v2004 with Nvidia 461.40 drivers at 3840x2160 60Hz 8bpc YCbCr420. It's identical to Youtube video in OP, and goes away when I exit F.lux.
