F.lux alters screen color when software's not running.

I recently started using F.lux (a couple of days ago) and I've noticed that, even when I've turned it off, the screen gets the redish F.lux colors whenever I boot a game up. So in order for me to play a game normally, I have to boot the game up, tab out, open up F.lux, and then re-close it.
Any reason why this is happening?
I'm on Windows 10, if that makes a difference.
