Registration foul up

It took me nearly an hour to register: (1) Capcha repeatedly rejected, it is a time wasting menace and should be scrapped or revised (2) Facebook refused to work, says something like 'app not ready'' --- huh? (3) one alternative for registering is not enough given the above (4) my 'name' was declared to be 'too short' --- it is 6 characters, only at least 5 required
