A section of my computer screen is dimmer than the other sections

I recently purchased a new Laptop, and installed all my essential programs, which included f.lux. However, after restarting, a certain section of my screen is dimmer than the other sections, which is really weird. I tried playing with f.lux settings but couldn't get anything to work. I eventually uninstalled f.lux because it was really distracting and doing any sort of work is impossible with it. Without f.lux installed, everything is fine. I have included a picture and a recording I made showing that no matter if its in day or night mode, the dim section persists. Any help would be appreciated!
