lattitude coordinates limitation

hello,i saw this post and deemed i have the same issue as this person had. this is an issue of F.lux not accepting any lattitude coordinates above 65 degrees North (havent tested with south). is this due to the fact that these locations observe permanent night or midnight sun situations?
as you can see from this image, i'm getting the correct coordinates for my city from F.lux's own map coordinate page, but i'm not allowed to switch to this new coodrdinate due to it being higher than 65 deg north
