      Hey guys!

I really love f.lux, but it keeps driving me crazy when it comes to graphic intense applications. When playing games, even low end games like worms, i keep getting mini stutters in between movements. It really makes some games umplayable. Also, when using FL Studio 12, i'm getting lags and underruns aswell while it's working perfectly (with the same project) when f.lux is disabled.

Did anyone encounter this problem before? I hate turning f.lux off for these tasks. My eyes hurt :D

      Thanks guys!

      Greets,
      Philipp

Yeah, but I hated having the color of my games changed anyway. So, I reduced my brightness instead.

Also, if you are playing games without your room lights on (if you're playing games in total darkness), then I think you should stop doing that. It's a good way to get eyestrain and you might end up with eye problems later in life.

Yeah it's definitly not necessary during gaming sessions, but i'd like to have it work while making music in fl studio. it's really annoying how everything starts to stutter and stuff when f.lux is enabled.

has anyone ever encountered the problem and maybe find a solution for it ?

@PhilT What's your computers video hardware?

Open the start menu, and type in "dxdiag" probably the noly thing we need directX around for now, since Vulkan is on the rise. List your video hardware, and if you know how, update your drivers. If you're not familiar with the process I'll help.

Also, if you've running Nvidia hardware, their current 6 or 7 updates have just been unusable for high performance GPU usage, so if you run into issues, I know of at least two driver versions that work great, currently on 355.xx something, or 368. something work great as well.

I don't know what you're talking about. I have a GTX 780 and I have had no problems with the last several driver releases. I'm currently on 376.19. I haven't updated to 376.33 yet because I've had better things to do. I would expect 376.33 to work just fine.

@TwoCables Well I run folding@home, and once that happens, it gives me a black screen going back and forth between seeing the screen and a black screen. Very annoying.
