Flux doesn't autostart on Windows 7, normal user account (no admin privileges)

TLDR: On my windows admin account flux autostarts, but it doesn't on my normal user account.
Hi. So I have 2 accounts on my windows 7, administrator and a normal user one. Flux installed on administrator account autostarts fine, but it doesn't on my normal user account. I do not have flux in autostart folder (but when I put it there, flux does autostart but the thing is it does this annoying thing like it would be started for the first time, it loads for a long time). I do have the registry key in H key current user\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run it says "f.lux" and data is" "C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\FluxSoftware\Flux\flux.exe" /noshow"
So I guess it should autostart but it doesn't. I also downloaded Process Explorer, and in that app on my flux.exe it says:
Command Line:
"C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\FluxSoftware\Flux\flux.exe"
Autostart Location:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\f.luxI have a bad memory, but I think that flux was autostarting normally before. But I think that after I turned off some windows services (with some guide from google, how to turn off some useless services) it doesn't autostart and reinstalling flux doesn't help. So does flux uses some windows services for normal work? But on the other hand on the admin account flux autostarts fine so I guess it's not services (?).
Any idea what else I can do?

Thank you - we will look into this.
I admit I have never tested this, but it would be a big deal if this is true!

Thanks for the reply, but I think it fixed itself. I'm gonna see tomorrow if it stays that way. To be honest I have no idea what fixed it. I run windows update and after reboot flux autostarted, so that was promising, but I made 1 more restart to make sure and it didn't work this time. So finally I decided to remove flux from administrator account and my normal user account, restarted pc and downloaded flux and installed it again (just on my normal user account). And after couple restarts of pc I can say that it works, so dunno what was the issue. The only weird thing was the first restart after installation, flux autostarted which was nice, but the thing is the explorer.exe didn't. The flux window poped out to change the location, and I had to start explorer.exe manually with ctrl+alt+delete.
I made 2 more resets of pc and flux starts like it should be. Dunno what was the issue.Oh, and 1 more thing. I don't know if this is what made the difference. So I have 2 partitions of the hard drive, 1 system and 1 for data. My before tries I installed it from data partition but the last time I moved the file on desktop (so it was on my windows partition) and run it from there. So maybe that was the issue.

Yeah, it needs to be in that special AppData folder for your current account.
By the way, you don't have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del. You can press Ctrl+Shift+Del. This is the keyboard shortcut for opening Task Manager. Of course, you can also right-click the Taskbar and choose "Start Task Manager".

Well, it was installing to that folder with all the tries. Dunno what made the difference that now the autostart works. Sorry for the trouble guys :D.

Let us know if you find anything else.

Crap. I really DID type "Ctrl+Shift+Del" even though in my head I was thinking "Ctrl+Shift+Esc". Wow. Thank you, Tim. You know, us Tims of the world have to look out for each other. :)

Hi,
My copy of flux also doesn't autostart in WIN7, though the timezone is correct. It's installed in the subfolder AppData\Local
Would this explain why I have to start it manually?
Thanks for your thoughts/advice

Hey, I'm the OP, it's just that I deleted account here and now created it again just to update on the situation.
So the problem is resolved. My flux is autostarting every time since 2 weeks and the problem was my antivirus Qihoo 360 Total Security. I uninstalled it and installed Panda antivirus instead, and now I don't have any problems with flux.
