UPDATE New Flux Version resolved the flickering issue.

I was able to replicate this on 3 different machines.

If you have iGPU (onboard Intel Video) enabled in the bios and drivers installed, AND you have an add-on video card (nvidia) installed and primary, this combo will cause massive flickering.

In Windows, you have to force attach a non-existing "monitor" to the intel onboard video. This allows for Intel Quick Sync technology to work.

Why would you want the above setup? Because, the above setup allows you to take advantage of Intel Quick Sync to render/encode hardware accelerated video.

I have attached a picture to show how it is configured in windows 7.alt text

How do you force attach a non-existing monitor? I know how to get to the screen in your picture but I don't understand what you've done to get the extra monitor attached
