Not working on my phone (and some questions)

Device: rooted xiaomi redmi note 4g
Rom used: MIUI V5When toggle to start flux, screen turn black. Need to lock screen and unlock again to remove the black screen.. After black screen removed, the toggle shows that flux is started but screen didnt change colour. And yes, the test is tested at night with location set. Similar app "CF. lumen" tested and work so i dont know whats wrong. Toggleing it off also give the same problem.
And i heard there is a closed beta or something? What is it about? Can i join?
