      Hi Guys I can't get F.lux to work - I had to get my phone replaced. The last time I did it which I believe was post Apple revoking the system of installing F.lux

      I tried reinstalling it from the system but its having issues. Also I had the provision files recently updated and the discussion said delete older files.

      Can someone please help?

          What version of xcode and which version of iOS? Are you using the original file that came from our site?

          I am sorry this is so complicated, I agree it would be much simpler if Apple would allow us into the app store - if you have a minute please let them know you'd like the real f.lux and not a copy: www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

            @lorna I am using the latest version of Xcode with the latest version of iOS.
            I was - I think the file is somewhere in my computer because Xcode is still picking it up... I assumed it no longer is available online to redownload since apple stopped assigning the signatures or something. Previously when I had my phone replaced - restoring it from the backup put f.lux back in without any hassle. This time it didn't. Between those times the signature expired so I had it renewed but the page said remove the other signatures - perhaps that's causing an issue? I really want this app back. Please help!!

              This may be helpful, via stackoverflow:

              In the Project Navigator, select your Xcode Project file. This will show you the project settings as well as the targets in the project. Look in the "Copy Bundle Resources" Build Phase. You should find the offending files in that list twice. Delete the duplicate reference.

              Xcode is complaining that you are trying to bundle the same file with your application two times.

                @lorna I appreciate the help but I have never used Xcode before this... how do I go about following the steps?

                Thanks!

                    @titanlumni2012 What if I delete Xcode & Reinstall it? or remove F.lux from Xcode & try to do it again? Thought I'm not sure if latter is a good idea & whether former would really work since the related data will remain in computer...

                    Thanks.

                        @titanlumni2012 I managed to clear the multiple builds issue. Got a new issue...

                        #import "AppDelegate.h"

                        int main(int argc, char * argv[]) {
                        @autoreleasepool {
                        return UIApplicationMain(argc, argv, nil, NSStringFromClass([AppDelegate class]));
                        }
                        }

                        The return bit is in red...

                            @titanlumni2012 Wow, this is actually very interesting to watch progress, you clearing errors and getting new errors! I'm not familiar with Xcode so I can't help but good luck getting it. It looks like it's not installing correctly. Something looks to be missing. That's all I can think of, so maybe that will get you somewhere with this.

                              Hi,

                              I'm having very similar issues now. I've had the sideload working fine and then it stopped when my provisioning profile expired a couple of days ago. I've deleted the expired profile and gone through the process or side loading again but the app won't load any more. The logo screen shows but then it closes every time.

                              I have the same multiple build error, which I haven't solved yet even with the instructions above. I don't know Xcode well so trying to struggle through.

                              If I get any inspiration I'll post again.

                                  @jdflux I'm sorry man I know just how horrible it feels. I feel like those older files kinda kept the thing into the system so the phones could put stuff back. I know theoretically because I back up my mac if I use my Time Machine back up I could reload those files back in the area as if they never were removed. Might try that out sometime in the future and see if it fixes it. Again I don't know much about Xcode and less about F.lux but it made my life better and I hate not having it.

                                    if this isn't relevant and I should start my own thread please say so. When I build and run F.lux on my iPad through Xcode I ge this error info in the (i think) debug navigator

                                      int main(int argc, char * argv[]) {
                                      @autoreleasepool {
                                      return UIApplicationMain(argc, argv, nil, NSStringFromClass([AppDelegate class]));
                                      }
                                      }

                                      The return bit is in red...

                                      I get this error when I have turned off 'Debug' in 'build settings' > 'architectures' > 'build active architectures only'

                                        so after finding the original f.lux side load files randomly online, It's working fine. I guess i must have messed things up in Xcode with my version. Find the original download and hope that works!
