Doesn't work on Fairphone 2 (Android 5.1, Lollipop)

  • The Fairphone is rooted by default. Nevertheless when I install the f.lux App from the Google Play Store every time the App starts, it says "f.lux was unable to get root access." and restarts again and again, until I force to shut it.

  • @Sebastián-Huter You may need to check the root method somehow. Maybe download "Super SU" or something of that nature to control the permissions that apps can receive, and allow f.lux!

  • Thanks for the hint. Using the superuser app I also checked the root status and found out, that the Fairphone 2 (unlike the Fairphone 1) is not rooted by default. Thats probably the problem ;)
