F.lux is STILL not working on my second monitor . . .
-
F.lux still works on my first monitor but not on the second.
The following is from the person who connected my second monitor:
"The original monitor is vga and the second is dvi (my computer only accepts one vga and one dvi that's why it is a dvi).
The f.lux is already working on one monitor so the usb hub point doesn't apply in this case."
What should I do?

I have the same problem. I'm working on Windows 7 with a docking station linked to my laptop via SS USB. Then the docking station is linked to my two monitors, one via HDMI, the second one via DVI. It unfortunately works on none of them.

I believe it doesn't work with USB?

Hello
Would anyone possibly from the Flux team have insight about it?

f.lux doesn't currently work with USB monitors.

OK, tell me about your setup: computer and monitor hardware, video card and driver version and OS.

OK, do you need any more data than this?

What is the version of your video drivers? Usually updating that is the right first step, fixes most problems like this.

Hello:
I just installed F.lux on my 3 PCs, Win 8.1 Pro, Win/XP, and Win 10. It works well on all three system with a single monitor, however with one with dual monitors a laptop with Win 10 it doesn't work on the second monitor. The primary monitor is the one on the laptop itself and the second is connected via standard VGA cable. Win 10 was not a clean install but was installed over a Win 7 Premium system.
I haven't discovered how to make the second monitor the primary but when I do I will cnange it and report if anything changes. Also, the video card is an NDVIA GeForce GT 230M, the driver version is 341.92.
I just noticed that there is a drive update available and will apply it and if anything changes I will report back. Please advise if any other information is needed.
Update:
It appears that the recent driver update (341.95 dated 3/16/2016) has resolved the problem. Note here that before attempting to install this driver (and maybe other NVIDIA drivers) shut down f.lux first. Not doing so, at least in this case, resulted in driver installation failing.
