Are the Qualcomm display drivers working?

  • I'm using the preview build from the play store, and the Qualcomm display drivers don't seem to alter the display at all when compared to the composite driver. I don't know if the change is just more slight than with the composite driver or if it hasn't been implemented yet.

  • This is an old Qualcomm driver, included mostly for KitKat support.

It works on Nexus 4 era phones, but not newer ones.

  • This post is deleted!

  • I have a xiaomi mi4c (snapdragon 808, adreno 418), and i also have this issue.

Any plans to include more recent qualcomm drivers?

  • Hi, I try it with my Samsung S5 with Marshmallow. Qualcomm driver is not working. Only the compatibility mode is working.

  • Now, it's not working again with 6.01. Having a test button to check if it's working should be great.
But is there any developement on the Android. No new release for 3 months...

  • Have you tried toggling the disable f.lux switch twice (once to disable, then once again to enable), and then doing the same thing with the darkroom toggle? What should happen is that the screen turns red and then gradually fades to the correct yellow. I initially thought the qualcomm driver wasn't working for my Z5 until I figured out that trick.

  • Just wanted to add that I updated from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 and the Qualcomm driver stopped working, even with the aforementioned trick of toggling darkroom.

  • Since I found this topic on Google and thought there was no solution:

I got the qualcomm drivers working on MM (sony z3c) by enabling "force gpu rendering" in developer options, then toggling darkroom mode.

    Hope this helps!
