Disabling the day night function completely
-
Hello dear f.lux users and devs,
I know the main function of f.lux is the automated chances by hour of day of the brightness and color depth/contrast. However for me personally, I am only interested in changing the brightness with the alt + pageup/down buttons. Is it possible to omit the day/night changes completely?
Furthermore, I notice the "make screen warmer as your back light dims" has no effect while using the alt+pgdown/up function. Is that normal? It seems the functionality changes the color depth/saturation and does not provide the same result as using the brightness slider in my AMD gpu options panel. The proiblem with the AMD panel is that it does not support hotkeys and is bugged when creating presets using multiple screens.
Greetings Vibonacci

The setting called "Make screen warmer as your backlight dims" is for laptops. It only works when you use a laptop's built-in brightness settings, not f.lux's Page Up/Page Down feature.
To disable Night & Day settings, just set both to 6500K.
