Hey there.
When'll try to install f.lux after running
'sudo apt-tget update'
I get:
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
after running the installation command, my terminal is answering:
Reading package lists... Done

@rafneff just use the updated version from 2 years ago on the download site, you'll see it when you go the the page with the commands to install. Then you can run that as a startup application. The problem is there is no slow 60 minute transition, so I would recommend a different program if that's what you're after.
You can actually run the Windows version with Wine, but do not expand the color range, it makes the colors too strong when I did that, so you may need to use a different setting for night if you do use that option, and you won't have to restart when you click it. You may have to reopen the program though.

Can you recommend a different tool? On my MacBook and my Windows PC f.lux is a real helpful tool to me, is there anything comparable to it which would get me the slow transition? I don't even wanna think about running Wine on my machine.
