Really would love to see this option!

Yes will be in the next version, soon.

I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, but the f.lux team has been promising a new update for Windows "soon" for multiple years now. I'm not trying to belittle them since I'm aware they are a very small team, but it's pretty clear at this point that they don't care about non-Apple platforms (or if they do, they are a much lower priority). I moved to Redshift a while back and will probably just use the built-in temperature shift feature that's supposed to come in the W10 Creators update.

And they have released each update that they said they were going to release. You have to remember, it's just 2 people and they're doing this for free. They have busy personal lives.
They care about Windows. Start a chat with them and ask them about why they are doing more for other operating systems. They can explain it.
I doubt any color temperature adjustment can be as good as f.lux. F.lux has the least negative effect on contrast and they don't use a cheap overlay in order to accomplish the colors. That means, it's real. It's not fake.

@TwoCables yes, and I never said otherwise. My frustration is just that they take so long to release meaningful updates for Windows, and repeatedly claim new features are coming "soon" while other programs begin to look more attractive. I have a Macbook so I can appreciate the features the Mac version has, but then every time I go to Windows I just start thinking "Exactly how long has it been since this version got a real update?" It feels like at least 3 or 4 years.
I acknowledged that they are a small team in my original post, and I apologize if I come across as critical but f.lux could be useful for so many more people if they didn't neglect Windows like this.

Haven't tried Redshift but has anyone tried Iris Pro?(Software, not the GPU) Apparently it has this feature, I would try it but its $10 and not sure how trustworthy the site is.

They are using the other OSs to make sure they get the first big new release on Windows just right because it's Windows.

Well it's the end of 2019...
