I LOVE f.lux on my MacBook Pro.
I have a myriad of rooted Android devices on which I would love to test the beta f.lux apk:
Nexus 6
Nexus 7 LTE (2013)
Nexus Player
Verizon LG G2Please add me to the beta Android apk test list!

Hopefully this is okay to ask this here: do you guys plan for a version of f.lux that works with root access only, or is there a possibility of a functioning version of f.lux not needing root access?
-
I've got a rooted S5 ready to test!

Hello there! Been using flux on my pc for years and have been dying for a flux on android. Definitely would love to test its on my rooted samsung galaxy note 3!

I'd love to try it, too! Windows user and love it! Nexus 6 on Marshmallow rooted & Xposed. Blue Light & Twilight just isn't the same.

@makeitrayn I'd like to ask if you're on android 4.4.3 or earlier -- if not, what version are you using and how did you root. I'm looking to switch phones, but I'd be curious to know what method you used.

Added everyone above this line

Still open to new beta testers? Rooted Nexus 6 on stock 5.1.1 here.
-
@timpster hey. i'm actually on android 5.0 now but i was on 4.4.3 before. to root u really just need to search xda developers for a guide on how to root. search for your device and carrier and then go into the general section to look for guides on how to root. best of luck

Hi everyone, I would be please to help you with the test of the android version of flux. I have a coupole of android phones which I can test (and I cant wait to uninstall twilight, it works so bad respect flux on my ipad and macbook).
I could help you with a nexus 5 (currently on 5.1.1) or nexus 4 (android 6.0). There is also a moto x play, but it's still waiting for rooting.
-
@makeitrayn O.K. one last question, are you a carrier other than Verizon, because they lock everything from what I've read (bootloader) so I don't think I can do anything.
-
@timpster Have a look around http://forum.xda-developers.com/compact and find your device, there's sure to be info on how to root whatever device you have from Verizon unless it's brand new, and then it's just a waiting game. I've rooted every smart phone I've owned and have been on Verizon for all of them.
