Doesn't seem to work. I notice no difference even with the darkroom setting selected.

I'd like the program to work and I've heard nothing but good things, but it doesn't seem to work on my computer. It appears the same as before even when I enable candlelight or darkroom. But from my research those should have a significant affect on the appearance. Anyone have any idea why this is the case?

Hmm. Let's test something. Change your "At night" setting to something warm (like the 1900K Candle color temperature, if you wish). After that, click the big curvy wave line on the main f.lux interface that represents sunrise and sunset. This is a preview feature, as you will see (It will say "24-hour preview") . Does anything happen to the color temperature when the 24-hour preview is running?

If that doesn't work, let's update your video drivers. I've learned that the easiest / most consistent way is with "Device Manager" (thanks @herf) So, click start button, and type "device", you should find device manager.

Go to "Display Adapters" and expand the menu entry by either clicking the triangle, double clicking the entry, or pressing the right arrow key. Double click on the display adapter you have listed, and put the name here in the forum.

Then, depending on what you have, find updates, I'll help.
For Nvidia graphics cards, go to: http://www.geforce.com/drivers
For AMD graphics cards, go to: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
(This forum is great, I ctrl + W, this tab, and all my text is still here).
          For Intel, go to: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect

That wasn't a proposed solution. I am trying to troubleshoot. That way, I don't have him do anything that he might not have to do. One step at a time. First, troubleshoot. Then, propose possible solutions based on the results from troubleshooting.
