      That's fair. I just thought it might not be a big job to enable an advanced mode for calibration, or perhaps there might be a way to activate a debug mode for it, as I thought you would likely have internal controls for calibration.

      I understand that it might seem an odd request. I've just never been that much of a phone person so this old hand-me-down suits me just fine for now. Better than the feature-phone it's replacing.

      just download this:9.2 (13C70)
      unzip it,
      and put it into :/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport
      restart your Xcode and it will work~

      @josh-43 the cydia app won't work on a non jb phone, they use a different approach.

      @lorna So the f.lux that you guys put up as slideload pre-packed is different from the f.lux available on cydia? How sad it is. If you could release the fix for the current slideloaded version on cydia, or a version that does not require root access on cydia that would be so great. Then Apple could not have complaint since this is depending on the free will of people to get apps from cydia

      Sounds to me that the answer is as simple as don't distribute it as a compiled binary. This isn't an Apple vs f.lux issue.

      This is the "wind down" mode based off your wake time. It's set to match the OSX f.lux, but Windows doesn't have this option yet. You can turn it off by selecting "dawn" for your wake time, and then you can set at night to whatever you want with no transition.

      @timpster said:

      @TwoCables The contrast is very different but you can invert darkroom mode. Since I use the magnifier a good bit, just do Ctrl Alt I. That's actually the ONLY way I know to invert the screen colors.

      I don't want to mess with my contrast. Due to using NVIDIA's Digital Vibrance at 74%, I already have to press Alt+Page Down one time after switching to 1200K. If I don't do that, then everything is a bit washed out.

      I actually tried to intercept the screen lock notifications in the Xcode project (in the app delegate), but alas, the 'just an app' is indeed just there for project building.
      Would be glad to host a new binary in my github repo (I posted it to Twitter/Followed You when you guys pulled it a few days back)!

      That app has to remain opened, but you can keep it running in the background (i.e. don't force close it).
